Chef Joshua Mitchell
Chef Joshua Mitchell is a native of Chicago, IL and moved to Southwest Florida as a teenager. He expressed his culinary passion at the age of 14 and earned his first executive chef position in Captiva, FL at the age of 18. His journey quickly moved him around the globe where he has led the kitchens of some of the country’s most celebrated restaurants including Dierdorf & Harts in St. Louis, MO, The Watercolor Inn, 5-Star Mobile restaurant Chez Le Bear in Sanibel, FL and Angelina’s, which was voted Best Italian Restaurant on the west coast of Florida by Food & Wine magazine.
Joshua then entered the yachting industry and quickly became a sought after chef for high end clients and celebrities including Lance Armstrong, Eric Church, Steve Madden and the founding partner of Outback Steakhouse. He has an intense passion for pairing food and wine and has studied viticulture in Europe. Chef Mitchell is Ritz-Carlton trained and a two-time James Beard house recipient.
